Why did we ever stop using cloth napkins?

For my grandmother, they are still something meaningful. A reminder of shared moments at the table. Carefully kept, used again and again, and naturally sustainable.

This is where we begin. We bring the cloth napkin back to the table, just slightly reimagined.

Swans & Cherries is a female founded textile studio based in Hamburg. We value the classic cloth napkin and think it further.

In our hands, it becomes a canvas for names, words and personal messages.

We create embroidered pieces for weddings, events, as gifts or for your home. Textiles that hold names, words and memories, becoming part of the table and something your guests can take home with them.

Are your napkins reusable?

Yes. Our embroidered napkins are made from a durable linen-cotton blend (75% linen, 25% cotton, 238 g/m²) and designed to be reused long after the wedding.

Where are your products made?

All napkins and textile pieces are handmade and embroidered in Hamburg, Germany.

Can I personalize each napkin individually?

Yes. You can choose between individually personalized napkins (e.g. guest names) or a unified design featuring the names of the bride and groom.

Are your textiles suitable for weddings only?

No. While designed for weddings, our embroidered textiles are also perfect for dinner parties, brands, events and meaningful gifts.
